Leading Financial Services Client requires a Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist DevOps teams to take their existing applications to the Cloud and build new solutions using cloud native technologies
• Provide technical leadership and build out services for a specific set of business IT customers
• Interact with the full breadth of cloud services with value placed on security competence
• Assist in establishing a market leading cloud competency
  Experience working with AWS and Azure 

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
• Cloud Certification (Professional/Expert Level)
  5+ years experience in software engineering
• 3 years architecting and building cloud solutions
• Software development languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Container Orchestration Platforms (Kubernetes, ECS) and Cloud technologies (Serverless, Containers, etc.)
• Networking and Security fundamentals
