12 Month Contract - Onsite in Gauteng
Established Client is seeking experienced Senior Active Directory (AD) Consultant to lead and manage Active Directory implementations, migrations, and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and optimise Active Directory infrastructure.
- Lead migrations, consolidations, and upgrades.
- Manage AD projects, from assessment to post-deployment.
- Create architecture diagrams, procedures, and policies.
- Handle escalated AD-related issues and incidents.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology
- Min 5 years of experience working with Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in Active Directory design, Group Policy, DNS, and LDAP.
- Experience with AD migrations, consolidations, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
- Knowledge of Windows Server (versions 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and PowerShell scripting for AD automation and management.
- Familiarity with Azure AD, hybrid AD environments, and cloud identity management.
- Strong understanding of IT security practices, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), delegation, and AD auditing.
- Experience with IAM (Identity and Access Management) tools, SSO (Single Sign-On), and Multi-Factor Authentication integration with AD.
- Knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
