Leading Financial Services Client requires a Oracle DBA to join their dynamic team and be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising production databases to ensure high performance, availability, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Application database request handling
• Oracle user access control and review.
• Perform database backups
• Implement and maintain Oracle database user roles and privileges
• Database backup and recovery process implementation and monitoring.
• DDL creation for database object manipulation using basic SQL, PL/SQL scripts SQL procedures

Requirements

• Matric
• Degree or Diploma in the field of computer science
• Min 2 years work experience within a similar role
• Working knowledge of Oracle DBMS and understanding of Oracle Database v19C
• Knowledge of OS level DBMS utilities (IMPDB, EXPDB, RMAN etc)
• Knowledge of Toad / SQLDeveloper for daily task management
• Linux, MS OS, PL/SQL & SQL DDL and DML proficiency
