Medical Doctor - Functional Medicine Johannesburg

A renowned, multidisciplinary medical practice that blends science, innovation, and care to deliver transformative results, is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor with a passion for Functional Medicine and an integrative approach to patient health. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide patient consultations across branches in Sandton, Rosebank and Bedfordview, with flexibility for virtual consultations as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and functional assessments
• Collaborate with medical professionals and allied health teams to manage patients with underlying medical conditions
• Manage medical emergencies and ensure best practice protocols are followed
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Contribute to health education and preventative care strategies
• Possible travel between clinics (to be confirmed)
• Develop and implement patient-centred health plans
• Collaborate with medical professionals and allied health teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Support the integration of peptide, hormone, and wellness therapies
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Qualification and Requirements:

• MBChB or equivalent qualification (registered with HPCSA)
• Interest or experience in Functional Medicine and Biohacking (essential)
• 3+ years of post-community service experience (preferably in a private practice setting)
• Knowledge of Peptide Therapy protocols
• Knowledge of Anti-Aging protocols
• Excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Willingness to work across multiple clinics and via telehealth

Monday to Friday, 07h00 - 16h00 or 8:00 17:00

Saturday, 9:00 15:00
