A high end aesthetic dental practice in De Waterkant, Cape Town is seeking to recruit an experienced Dental Chairside Assistant. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail oriented, and passionate about patient care, with the ability to support advanced dental procedures within a digitally driven clinical environment.
Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for examinations and procedures
- Ensure all patient files and records are prepared and updated
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilisation protocols
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and instruments
- Manage stock control and ordering of dental supplies
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers
- Support administrative duties related to patient care
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional clinical environment
Qualification and Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Dental Assistant qualification (non negotiable)
- Registration with the HPCSA as a Dental Assistant
- Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with medical or dental software advantageous
- Experience in aesthetic or cosmetic dentistry advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional and well presented

Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00
