A specialist Spinal Orthopaedic practice in Pretoria is seeking to recruit a full time Clinical Associate to support a highly specialised surgical environment. The role is suited to a clinically capable and enthusiastic professional who can assist with patient care, theatre support, documentation, and treatment coordination while contributing to a positive patient experience.
Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Assist with obtaining patient history and identifying patient needs
- Support the doctor with clinical and procedural tasks
- Assist in theatre during specialised spinal procedures
- Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions
- Provide patient education, counselling, and support
- Prepare referrals and referral feedback
- Assist with implementation and follow through of treatment plans
- Capture patient information, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately
- Maintain clinical statistics and detailed documentation
- Interpret results from diagnostic investigations
- Utilise diagnostic tools effectively
- Assist with catheter management and minor procedural support including suturing where required
- Ensure a positive and professional patient experience

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP)
- Current HPCSA registration
- 2 to 3 years experience in a private healthcare setting
- Fluency in Afrikaans is essential
- Willingness to undergo specialised clinical training
- Ability to work in a surgical and theatre based environment
