A specialist Spinal Orthopaedic practice in Pretoria is seeking to recruit a full time Clinical Associate to support a highly specialised surgical environment. The role is suited to a clinically capable and enthusiastic professional who can assist with patient care, theatre support, documentation, and treatment coordination while contributing to a positive patient experience.

Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Assist with obtaining patient history and identifying patient needs
• Support the doctor with clinical and procedural tasks
• Assist in theatre during specialised spinal procedures
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions
• Provide patient education, counselling, and support
• Prepare referrals and referral feedback
• Assist with implementation and follow through of treatment plans
• Capture patient information, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately
• Maintain clinical statistics and detailed documentation
• Interpret results from diagnostic investigations
• Utilise diagnostic tools effectively
• Assist with catheter management and minor procedural support including suturing where required
• Ensure a positive and professional patient experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP)
• Current HPCSA registration
• 2 to 3 years experience in a private healthcare setting
• Fluency in Afrikaans is essential
• Willingness to undergo specialised clinical training
• Ability to work in a surgical and theatre based environment
