About the job Medical Receptionist
A specialist Paediatric Practice based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, is looking for a medical receptionist and personal assistant
Duties & Responsibilities
- Diary and appointment management
- Answering incoming calls
- Cash and credit card payment and reception
- Stock control and ordering of stock
- Creating patient files
- Ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the practice
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- General administration
- Maintain efficient patient service
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information
- Assist in any marketing initiatives or requirements
- Book meetings
- Attend to travel arrangements
- Run errands as requested
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Medical reception experience is an advantage
- Medical software knowledge is an advantage especially on Vericlaim
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential
- Business and marketing diploma is an advantage
- Hospitality or childcare background is advantageous
- Social media knowledge will be advantageous

Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 08h00 16h00
