Our client, an orthopaedic surgeon in Kimberley in private practice is seeking a Clinical Associate to assist him with key responsibilities.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Assistance with obtaining patient history and identifying patient needs
  • Oversee clinical tasks
  • Monitoring efficacy of therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions
  • Providing patient education, counselling and support
  • Attending to appropriate referrals and preparing referral feedback
  • Assistance with monitoring and implementing a treatment plan and the proper rollout thereof
  • Capture all patient information and clinical care treatment plans, clinical notes etc accurately
  • Interpreting results from various special investigations
  • Utilising diagnostic tools effectively
  • Prescribing appropriate medication within scope of practice
  • Assisting with ward rounds
  • Assisting with wound clinics
  • Assisting in theatre

Qualifications:

  • Batchelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP)
  • 2 - 3 years experience in a private setting
  • HPCSA Registration
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans essential)

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8h00 - 17h00

Possible ad hoc weekends when Dr is on call.

Start Date: January 2026
