Registered Nurses Boland, Cape Town

Our client, a private medical group practice based in the Boland region of Cape Town, is seeking to appoint experienced Registered Nurses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Phlebotomy service
• Assist patients in a family medicine and healthcare environment
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, medical situations and vital signs as needed
• Accurate clinical evaluation of patient complaints, including initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments
• Perform minor procedures & treatments (i.e. pap smears, removal of stitches, wound dressings etc.)
• Maintain accurate reporting and record keeping
• Deliver appropriate information to healthcare users in a manner that is sensitive to their conditions and level of understanding
• Explain the potential side effects of medication and provide patients with information and advice on prescribed medication
• Obtaining a patient history and performing physical examinations
• Interpreting findings and formulating a diagnosis for common and emergency conditions
• Stock control, stock take & ordering of stock

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Relevant Nursing qualification (BCur / Diploma)
• Active SANC Registration
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Registered nurse

Hours:

• Shifts as this will be a 24/7 operational practice
• Option to work only Day or Night is open for negotiation

Start Date:

TBC (+/- mid November 2025)
