Our client, an established and highly regarded skin care company based in the North of Johannesburg, is seeking to grow its team by appointing a qualified and experienced Specialist Dermatologist.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a compassionate, patient-focused individual to join a clinic with an existing patient base, strong administrative support, and a commitment to evidence-based care.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a variety of conditions
- Conduct thorough skin cancer screenings and perform minor dermatological procedures (e.g., excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy).
- Maintain accurate medical records in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Develop personalised treatment plans and provide patient education regarding skin health and preventative care.
- Collaborate with in-house aesthetic and skin therapy professionals where required.
- Stay updated on advancements in dermatological treatments and incorporate innovations into clinical practice when relevant.
- Perform or oversee cosmetic dermatological procedures such as PRP therapy, skin peels, injectables, and laser treatments.
- Advise patients on skin rejuvenation therapies aligned with medical skincare goals.
- Offering dermatology master classes / videos and seminars e.g. 5 times per annum
Qualification and Requirements:
- MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
- Specialist qualification in Dermatology (e.g., FC Derm (SA), MMed Derm, or equivalent).
- Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Specialist Dermatologist.
- At least 2 years of post-specialisation clinical dermatology experience.
- Valid professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain).
- Exceptional clinical skills and patient care orientation.
- Ability to function independently in a private practice setting while contributing to a team culture.
