Afrikaans Speech Language Pathologist, Secunda, Mpumalanga

Our client, based in Secunda, Mpumalanga is looking for a speech language pathologist to assist at multiple sites (offices, hospitals and schools) with the diagnosing and treating of speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating the speech abilities of children and adults through administering diagnostic tests

• Evaluating feeding and swallowing disorders of newborns, children and adults

• Providing intervention to people with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, dysphagia, stuttering, speech sound disorders, Aphasia, Apraxia, Dysarthria, language disorders and early intervention

• Development and implementation of effective rehabilitative programs for patients with speech, language and cognitive difficulties

• Provide the service at the practice, private hospitals, schools and offices

Qualification:

• Batchelor in Speech Language and Audiology

• Active member of the HPCSA

• At least 2 years experience in this field of specialty

Skills and attributes:

• Computer Literate (Microsoft office suite)

• Bilingual (English and Afrikaans is essential)

Monday to Friday, 07h30 16h00
