A dental practice in De Waterkant, Cape Town is seeking to recruit a well presented and organised Dental Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, tech savvy, and patient focused, with the ability to manage front desk operations while delivering a professional and welcoming patient experience.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage the switchboard and handle incoming calls
  • Schedule, manage, and maintain appointment diaries
  • Send appointment reminders via phone, SMS, or email
  • Attend to patient enquiries and provide accurate information
  • Manage patient flow and communicate delays professionally
  • Maintain and update patient records and accounts
  • Handle payments, collections, and receipting of monies
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure easy retrieval of records
  • Assist with patient emergencies and escalate where required
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of patient information
  • Maintain a neat, organised, and professional reception area
  • Perform general administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Additional qualification in medical or dental administration advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar receptionist role advantageous
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00
