A healthcare group operating within a Pain Management environment in Johannesburg, Gauteng is seeking to recruit a Hostess and Theatre Technician on a 3 month contract, with the potential for permanent placement. This role combines patient facing hospitality, administrative support, and technical theatre assistance within a multidisciplinary, patient centred setting.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Theatre Technician Support:

  • Operate and manage theatre equipment and disposables
  • Assist with stock control and equipment management
  • Capture and maintain theatre related data and records

Hostess and Patient Support:

  • Open and close the clinic facility
  • Prepare the clinic for daily patient consultations
  • Welcome patients and ensure a positive, professional experience
  • Provide refreshments and assist with patient comfort
  • Manage patient flow and documentation

Administrative and General Duties:

  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Handle payment transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of reception and patient areas
  • Conduct stock takes and manage supplies
  • Liaise with medical professionals, patients, and stakeholders
  • Represent the organisation in a professional manner

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare environment advantageous
  • Strong computer literacy and technical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own reliable vehicle required
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Availability to travel for training in Cape Town
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Well groomed with a professional appearance
