What You'll Be Doing:

You'll play a vital role in supporting the revenue cycle, accurately posting incoming payments (both insurance and patient), tracking balances, and ensuring no dollar goes missing. Think of yourself as the glue between payments, billing, and accounting. If something looks off, you'll help flag it for review. If something needs to be closed, deposited, or documented, you've got it covered.

A Day in the Life Might Include:

• Uploading and distributing electronic remits to keep your billing teammates moving
• Accessing payer portals to post remits manually or via auto-posting
• Analyzing insurance and patient payments, flagging underpaid or unpaid lines for further action
• Tracking post-dated checks and credit card arrangements (and following up if anything declines)
• Logging refunds and ensuring they're mailed out
• Balancing, depositing, and closing out each business day like a boss
• Keeping your digital files tidy by scanning backup documentation
• Collaborating with billing team members to keep processes flowing smoothly
• Lending a hand when coworkers need help because that's just how you roll

The Ideal Fit:

• You've got at least 1 year of payment posting experience under your belt
• You're organized, efficient, and cool under pressure
• You love a good checklist and know how to get things done without someone watching over your shoulder
• You're confident working with patient info and insurance data
• You're ready to communicate with clarity, whether it's with your team or following up with patients

What Else You Should Know:

• This is a full-time opportunity, with a Monday-Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 1pm schedule
• Work is fast-paced and detail-heavy, so being comfortable in front of a screen is a must
• Some light travel may be needed on occasion
• You'll need to stay flexible, accountable, and ready to jump in where needed
