Pay Rate: $23 - $28 per hour

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

What You'll Do:
Master Eligibility Verification: Accurately verify benefits for new and existing patients receiving infusion services, including obtaining necessary prior authorizations.
Payment Expertise: Calculate patient financial responsibilities based on insurance and pharmacy verification specific to infusion treatments.
Patient Communication: Clearly communicate payment expectations and insurance details to infusion patients, ensuring understanding.
Infusion-Specific Navigation: Master insurance carriers, drug cards, major medical, pharmacy benefits, and patient assistance programstailored to infusion services.
Seamless Infusion Referrals: Process all outside infusion referrals with precision, ensuring a smooth experience for patients.
Precision Payment Management: Review payment records for infusion patients and third parties, ensuring fees are accurately collected.
Quick & Reliable Support: Answer calls, return voicemails, and resolve tasks in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) promptly.
Excellence in Infusion Care: Set the standard for patient care within the infusion team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
Effective Communication: Foster open, positive interactions with patients and team members, maintaining a patient-centric approach.
Your Skillset:
Infusion Expertise: Background in infusion services, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or specialty healthcare settings is a strong plus.
Insurance Navigation: In-depth understanding of government and patient assistance programs, with a focus on infusion coverage.
Customer Service Mastery: Excellent patient communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity.
Problem-Solving Pro: Strong analytical skills to navigate complex insurance scenarios.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors for infusion services.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Efficient Typist: Able to type 50 words per minute.
What Sets You Apart:
Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in healthcare, business, finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Two to three years of experience in medical insurance, benefits verification, prior authorizations, medical billing, or a related field, specifically for infusion services.
