About the job PR Strategist

PR Strategist

Earned Media | Creative Publicity | Mainstream / Tech / Crypto Press

ImpactSoul is activating a creative PR strategist to jump-start its coming out party. Your goal is not to execute our strategy and approach, but to co-develop a unique and creative path with deep input into pitch ideas, targets, media, and more.

What We Have

  • A buzz-worthy idea. Own a piece of an iconic asset - a T Rex skeleton; a landmark building; music, art, tribal IP and more. Rally with your fellow asset owners to unlock massive philanthropic donations to verified impact - and vote on the specific projects in proportion to your contribution.

  • Top-name partners. Republic Crypto - in the news for tokenizing and selling SpaceX mirror tokens. XPRIZE - the pioneer of crowdsourced innovation that singlehandedly launched commercial space travel and is now solving humanitys greatest challenges. Dollar Donation Club - the grassroots collective philanthropists working on behalf of top influencers like Selena Gomez. And others to be announced shortly

  • Impressive advisors. Will Poole, the former head of Windows at Microsoft. Andrew Durgee, CEO of Republic. Gary Silverman, partner at White & Case. Peta Milan, regenerative impact guru. And a half dozen more brilliant minds and industry movers and shakers, all ready to step up and help publicize our journey.

  • An articulate and accomplished team. CEO whos a regular in enterprise tech, Web3, and philanthropy publications & podcasts. CSO published in Fortune and quoted in NYT. Stars from academia, Web3, social impact, and more.

  • A backlog of compelling unpublished content. From articles plotting out the next revolution in philanthropy and impact; to in-depth studies on the theory and practice of building healthy future positive communities, to insights in the emerging world of tokenization, and a press release to spring the mind-blowing advisory board on the world.

  • Interest and dedication to getting things done right

What We Dont Have

Our funding round closed (though were getting there), so were less interested in paid advertising, conferences, placement, etc. Competitive pay for you, absolutely. A small fee to enter an otherwise closed door, well consider. Massive campaign with paid media - not until next year.

What We Need from You

  • An honest and realistic assessment of our pitch, pre-publication materials, and intents. If were in love with our advisor press release, but you dont see it getting picked up, tell us. If our articles are more verbose than insightful, lets make them better.

  • Unbounded creativity - and then after you tell us press releases are passe, tell us how to reshape it into something that isnt - maybe its a forum discussion between our illustrious advisors, a creative video, a podcast strategy. If our article cant be in our preferred pubs, tell us who we can adapt it to that will be interested.

  • Access to key pubs and opinion leaders - were not looking to be self-promotional all the time. We have genuine compelling stories, innovations, and hot takes. If you insert us into the discussion in written, aural, and video media, well make a splash, but we need the opportunity.

  • Ability to span media and genres - we have a great story for social impact / philanthropy, Web3, finance, art, high tech, and even mainstream news. We want you to be conversant and connected in a good cross section of these.

  • Flexibility and resourcefulness - the ability to operate at a startup pace, find unorthodox solutions, and not solve problems by throwing money at them

Our Offer

A fair hourly rate with no minimum commitment while you help us to our first win - major pub picking up one of our articles or press releases; a video that garners thousands of views and active discussions; something that creates a spark.

After that well discuss a project-based engagement / retainer structure.
