Job Overview: The Commercial Landscape Sales and Estimating Representative is responsible for identifying potential clients, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing accurate estimates for commercial landscaping projects. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, technical knowledge of landscaping processes, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial landscaping sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, including property managers, developers, and municipal entities
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  1. Estimating:
  • Analyze project plans, site surveys, and client requirements to understand scope and specifications
  • Estimate and sell construction division projects/bidding and estimating
  • Review and analyze historical data to ensure competitive and profitable pricing
  1. Client Management:
  • Oversees production and progress of construction projects
  • Manage subcontractor agreements and deployments
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the project
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within budget
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with landscape architects, project managers, and other team members to ensure accurate project estimates and smooth project execution
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and subcontractor
  • Schedule projects with the Construction foreman.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare job packet information
  • Prepare regular sales and project status reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
