Responsibilities

Lead AI-Sector Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Define and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy for our clients AI and machine learning offerings within the biotech segment.
  • Identify market opportunities and refine targeting, positioning, and messaging to highlight the ROI of predictive analytics for emerging companies.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects by leveraging data-driven lead generation.
  • Develop territory plans that prioritize high-potential accounts and strategic organizational partnerships.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and revenue attainment.

Cultivate Relationships with Emerging Organizations

  • Identify and engage C-suite decision-makers at emerging companies (Series A through pre-IPO) to discuss digital transformation.
  • Understand the unique challenges firms face in portfolio strategy, asset valuation, and partnering in a data-scarce environment.
  • Conduct consultative discovery to demonstrate how the AI platform provides a competitive advantage in development and BD.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles from initial outreach through contract closure.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients leverage advanced analytics to optimize their development strategies and fundraising efforts.

Develop Consortium and Organizational Partnerships

  • Build strategic relationships with industry consortiums, AI/tech incubators, and biotech accelerators.
  • Engage with state-driven member organizations and regional life sciences clusters to position the firm as a thought leader.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that provide scalable access to multiple emerging companies.
  • Represent our client at high-level industry events, member meetings, and innovation networking sessions.
  • Structure partnership agreements and member benefit programs that drive platform adoption across the ecosystem.

Drive Revenue Through Sales Execution

  • Meet and exceed annual sales quotas and revenue targets for the AI platform.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from aggressive prospecting through sophisticated contract negotiation.
  • Deliver compelling, high-level product demonstrations that showcase the power of AI in specific biotech use cases.
  • Orchestrate deal processes involving C-suite executives, heads of R&D, and corporate development stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial terms that deliver mutual value and build long-term, sustainable enterprise partnerships.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • 6+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience, specifically within SaaS, enterprise software, or life sciences.
  • A strong network within the industry ecosystem, including emerging companies, venture capital firms, and industry organizations.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding high-value sales quotas.
  • Deep experience selling to C-suite executives and Business Development/Portfolio Management teams.
  • Solid understanding of industry business models, including drug development lifecycles, fundraising, and out-licensing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex technical value propositions (AI, Data, or Analytics).
