POSITION BASED IN CENTURION

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Impala Platinum is seeking highly committed, dynamic, and recently graduated individuals who are eager to gain practical experience in Information Technology. This learnership program aims to equip qualified candidates with hands-on exposure to SAP systems, helping them become well-rounded IT professionals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science (essential).
  • NQF Level 7 qualification in Accounting will be advantageous (for accounting-related learner position only).
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and processes.
  • Strong interest in Group IT Systems such as SAP (Business Management System), MRM (Mineral Resource Management), or PPMS (Production Performance Management System).
  • Excellent communication skills and must be a team player.
  • Requires enthusiasm about learning with a proactive attitude.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology.
  • Valid drivers license required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • This is a fixed term learnership position for a duration of 2 years.
  • Learners will collaborate with IT professionals across departments, gaining exposure to various technologies and operational processes.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Implats business processes and applications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and develop solutions.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and provide timely technical support.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting to enhance IT system performance.
  • Attend learning sessions and workshops to expand technical skills.
