PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To ensure that monthly planning and daily bookings are correctly captures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12/NQF Level 4 is essential.
  • Previous experience with the SPBT system, especially with Planning, Bookings and reporting would be advantageous.
  • Computer literacy is essential.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Train and ensure that users know how to effectively use all functionalities of the Short-term Planning & Booking Tool, with signs-off when the training is completed.
  • Ensure that the monthly pre-planning and daily bookings are captured correctly on time by assisting the relevant users.
  • Planning and bookings quality. Monitor compliance of the short-term planning and bookings standard. Take required action to resolve.
  • Conduct refresher training on SPBT and on new enhancements and sign-off training when completed.
  • Verifies calendar dates before pre-planning is captured.
  • Ensure that all relevant workgroup and workplace changes communicated from the mining department are communicated to the central planning department for processing.
  • Send out daily production reports.
  • Administrative role. Users BIIS Request forms, sign-on, access requests, printing, general office administration.
  • Support and participates in change management initiatives to drive transformation and optimisation.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy diverse internal and external relations and implements remedial actions where required.
