POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position will be part of the dynamic team based at Ngezi Concentrator reporting to the Foreman – Mechanical.

JOB TITLE – Artisan Plumber Class 1

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Trade tested Artisan Class 1 Plumber

• 5 'O' level passes including Mathematics, English Language and Science

• 5 years' experience in maintenance of sewer and water reticulation equipment

• Knowledge of planned, preventative and predictive maintenance systems
• Familiarity with Zimplats Management System and SAP will be added advantages

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• A self-starter with excellent interpersonal, planning and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Carrying out routine and scheduled maintenance work
• Carrying out required installation and construction work
• Solar geysers installation and maintenance
• Maintenance of sewer and water reticulation equipment
• Supporting and implementing the Business Management System (BMS)
