The position will be part of the dynamic team based at Smelter Engineering Department reporting to the Foreman – Boilermaking.

JOB TITLE – Artisan Class 2: Boilermaker

JOB GRADING – C1

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 O level passes including Mathematics, English and Science
• Traded tested Class 2 Boilermaker
• 3 years experience in maintenance of mining processing equipment in a heavy engineering environment
• Knowledge of planned, preventative maintenance systems
• Knowledge of the Business Management System (BMS)

LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:

• A self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, planning & problem-solving skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Boilermaking maintenance of plant and equipment, projects work and enforcing standards as per statutory requirements and work procedures

• Carrying out scheduled and statutory inspections

• Providing supervision and enforcing standards as per statutory requirements and standard work procedures

• Supporting and implementing the Business Management System (BMS)
