PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To assist the Plant Engineer to control/monitor/budget the asset management system. To capture financial data with regards to employee leave, sick leave, overtime and travelling claims into SAP payrolls.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- NQF Level 4 (matric).
- Knowledge of SAP and basic engineering terms and technology.
- General data capturing and SAP experience will be an advantage.
- Sound communication-, interpersonal- and administrative skills.
- Computer literacy i.e., MS Office required and SAP Accounts Payable will be an added advantage.
- Must be medically fit for the Platinum Metal Refinery (PMR).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure functional location information in SAP is correct (i.e., create, change, and make obsolete functional locations).
- Ensure equipment registers in SAP are correct.
- Generate and close planned maintenance sheets (PM03s) on a weekly basis generate maintenance as per work centres; monitor, distribute and collect maintenance sheets; close off the maintenance sheets correctly; technically complete maintenance when coding is complete etc.
- Create and correct usage of the variant module in SAP set up variant relative to the information required; assist in a quick and efficient method to obtain information; assist during periods of staff unavailability to provide correct information.
- Use notification & maintenance orders correctly (PM01 & 02).
- Capturing of overtime and standby worked into SAP payrolls (i.e., process and engineering staff submit overtime/standby forms to be captured on SAP).
- Receive and capture travelling claims and various types of leave into SAP payrolls, i.e., sick leave, accumulated leave, leave encashment, family responsibility leaves etc.
- Perform general administrative duties, such as assisting auditors when the payroll system is being audited, entering time and attendance into SAP, i.e., at work, not clocks, sending out standby rosters, maintaining the technical library, etc.
