PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To conduct Time and Attendance administration at the shafts / Processing


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12/STD 10/ NQF Level 4 is essential
  • 1 - 3 years' Time and Attendance Systems Operation experience is desirable
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SACO Enterprise T&A
  • SAP HR


COMPETENCIES:

  • Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non-compliance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to basic health and safety principles in a workplace
  • Demonstrate an awareness of customer service
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Shaft /Processing Time and Attendance administration
  • Demonstrate and apply a good understanding of the company payroll
  • Must describe and assist in the control of fraud in an office environment
  • Builds, supports and maintains healthy diverse internal and external relations and implements remedial actions where required


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Checks Readers and Turnstiles and report faulty equipment.
  • Monitors Access Control.
  • Parades employees who need to be contacted.
  • Prints Gang books for morning, afternoon and night shifts.
  • Completes the Gang book return report.
  • Print Absentee Reports for morning, afternoon and night shifts.
  • Assist with shift clearance.
  • Apply for lost/damaged cards
  • Allocate temporary cards
  • Captures scheduled overtime for Contractors on SACO Enterprise
  • Captures standbys on SACO Enterprise and SAP
  • Print clock histories
  • Responsible for the capturing of: Attendance Codes, Sick notes, Overtime, Call Outs and Standby.
  • Deals with access control queries from employees and management.
