PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To conduct training and development in order to satisfy business needs and to meet safety and legal requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification is essential
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of different heavy-duty vehicles is essential
  • EC drivers license with PrDP is essential
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office) is essential
  • Must be willing to be trained towards being an Assessor
  • Relevant ETD qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Valid medical certificate is essential and must be fit in order to obtain such a certificate

COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills is essential

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Train and develop employees in accordance with TETA/CETA requirements
  • Conduct continuous Needs Analysis in accordance with HRDC methodologies
  • Continuous Revision and Maintenance of training material and assessments
  • Evaluate clients satisfaction surveys for Line Management and employees
  • Keep record of employees training history in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements
  • Conduct proper Practical Training and Assessments
