PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Responsible for providing quality health care according to professional standards as required and manage patient's psychological, physical, social and spiritual needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 or NQF equivalent 4 is essential
  • Nursing diploma/degree is essential
  • Primary Health Care and Dispensing certificate is essential
  • Registration with the SA Nursing Council is essential
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as a professional/occupational nurse is essential
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential

  • Ensures that health and professional regulations are adhered and implements health standards according to OHSC.
  • Implements the outcome of risk assessment.
  • Maintains proper electronic record keeping.
  • Maintains safety and the well-being of health care workers.
  • Ensures effective supervision of subordinates.
  • Conducts health education to co-workers and clients.
  • Administers medication and audits stock as required.
  • Manages Acute and Chronic conditions
