PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To supervise and assist the team in the safe execution of all electrical activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certificate is essential.
  • N3 plus a recognized Electrical Trade Certificate is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrician is Essential
  • Computer literacy MS Office packages is essential
  • Must have SAP knowledge
  • Medical Certificate or medically fit in order to obtain one

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise electrical maintenance activities
  • Guide and assist Electricians with daily maintenance activities
  • Maintain control of Electrical workshops, stores and main sub-stations
  • Analyse and solve electrical problems
  • Stay informed on the latest technology for application or replacement of present electrical technology and divulge the necessary information to personnel
  • Attend to callouts with regards to electrical breakdowns
  • Assist with fault finding of leaky feeder systems
