About the job Team Member/Server

You will be responsible for serving food to guests, preparing fresh food items according to recipes, maintaining the restaurant and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and make food items as per customers' requests.
  • Ensure that all manner of restaurant duties are conducted to the standards of the BC Health Regulations, including maintaining temperature logs and adhering to proper sanitary protocol.
  • Independently complete items outline on daily checklists.
  • Consistently follow recipes and prepare food.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints.
  • Dishwashing,
  • Use a cash register to take customer orders, accept payment and give change.
  • Answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at counters or tables.
  • Preparing food such as Burrito, Taco, Nachos, quesadilla, Burrito bowl, etc.
  • Clean, peel, slice and trim food items using manual and electric appliances.
  • Stock refrigerators and shelves.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
  • Wash work tables, cupboards, walls and appliances and clean kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes. qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the restaurant, customer service, or other related fields.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Follow instructions per Supervisor/Manager
  • -WES/IQAS and IELTS ready is an advantage
  • Certificate of employment, 2011 to present
