About the job Volunteer Program Manager (Part-Time)
As a volunteer-driven organization, In Touch Community Services, continues its missions toward Mental Health & emotional well-being, by collaborating with volunteers through its Volunteer Program. The program aims to build an annual pool of volunteers, with each volunteer of 1) actively supporting selected in Touch programs and initiatives; and 2) being a Mental Health advocate during and beyond his/her participation in the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Promote In Touch Volunteer Program and recruit volunteers
- Manage volunteers sign-up, orientation, and integration to the organization community
- Organize trainings or capacity building activities for volunteers
- Liaise with volunteers to link them with In Touch program/project managers
- Ensure and monitor the engagements of volunteers
- Assess and celebrate the support or contribution of the volunteers
- Oversee the success of the Volunteer Program

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Business acumen
- Evidence of ability to influence others without having direct authority
- Implementation of programs/workshops
- Partnership building Bachelors in a relevant field (i.e. business management, finance,
- marketing) or commensurate work experience
