SUMMARY

Founded to serve the expat community, the RM for the Foreign Liaison Program is responsible for maintaining and expanding connection with foreign entities and gaining knowledge of global standards for best in class service. The main responsibility of the Foreign Liaison Program is to ensure all expatriate networking channels are developed and maintained for purposes of

  • Raising awareness and mitigating stigma of mental health

  • Raising awareness of In Touchs Mission and Vision and services

  • Making linkages between the expatriate community and In Touch programs and projects

  • Managing a database of future potential donors

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Network with foreign entities for the purpose of maintaining and expanding awareness of In Touch as a service provider to the expat community as well as the Filipino community

  • Increase advocacy efforts to expat community and grow In Touchs profile

  • Initiate, develop and manage a portfolio of relationships with the expatriate community through formal and informal organizations (not necessarily catering exclusively to the foreign community; i.e. Manila Womens Forum (MWF)

  • Through these relationships, foster strong linkages for purposes of raising awareness, providing services, and fundraising opportunities

  • Deliver Coffee Morning like programs catering to the Mental Health needs of the foreign community audience.

  • Coordination with Counseling Program to deliver counseling to international customer service standards

  • Coordination with other In Touch team members to effectively deliver information about In Touch programs and services

  • Identifying targets that meet the criteria for internal stakeholders and programs

  • Manage budget to optimize connectivity

  • Knowledge and experience working with other cultures and ability for membership in expatriate network channels

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Business acumen

  • Evidence of ability to influence others without having direct authority

  • Bachelors in a relevant field (i.e. business management, finance, marketing) or commensurate work experience

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Specific goals will be established on an annual basis.

  • Re-establish In Touchs connection with the expat community; manage budget to optimize connectivity

  • Develop and deliver talks/presentations to the target audience

  • Maintain records of meetings re: opportunities identified, potential donors, and lessons learned

  • Identify linkages to other programs/projects within In Touch

  • Implement Coffee Mornings with topics targeted to the expat community


Sustainability Measures

  • Advocacy, Awareness, Education
    • Expand and deepen reach
      • Join more expat groups

      • Conduct famils (familiarizations) with key people in expat groups, embassies, schools, relocations companies, etc.

      • Instigate Awareness Campaign for mens mental health

    • External communications plan - integrated and coordinated
      • Implement new Facebook account for re-posting more aggressively to a broader audience

      • Reach out via email, followed by AVP presentation to key stakeholders

      • Update and maintain expat database for distribution list

  • Beacon and Megaphone
    • Present AVP to key contacts


  • Workshops/Support Groups/Events/Coffee Mornings/Webinars
    • Collaborate with Product Manager to
      • Identify topics and content that will attract expats

      • Offer unique, well-being focused talks that compliments the needs of the community

      • Help source suitable presenters

      • Collaborate with Interns/Kapihan to produce similar material

      • Collaborate with new and existing team members and counselors to maximize available resources


  • Measurement & Evaluation
    • Collaborate with PM options to evaluate client of delivered 

      products

    • Share new products internally for testing and practice, attain feedback from other department
