General Practitioner / Family Physician

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused General Practitioner (Family Physician) to join a brand-new medical practice in the Toronto area. This is an exciting opportunity for a physician who is interested in helping shape and grow a new clinic from the ground up, while delivering high-quality primary care to a diverse and growing patient population.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing clinical workflows, building patient relationships, and contributing to the long-term success of the practice, supported by modern facilities and administrative infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and health assessments
  • Prescribe and manage medications in line with clinical best practices
  • Build and manage a patient roster as the practice grows
  • Refer patients to specialists and coordinate continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using EMR systems
  • Contribute to the development of clinic processes and care standards
  • Collaborate with administrative staff and allied health professionals
  • Adhere to CPSO, OHIP, and clinic policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an approved Family Medicine residency program
  • Eligible for or fully licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) preferred
  • Eligible to bill OHIP
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in helping establish and grow a new practice environment
