The Role

You will be required to undertake the following day-to-day duties:

Meet customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their goods according to operating procedures and statutory requirements.

Tracking trailer movements and keeping our customers updated.

Checking supplier documentation against loads.

Liaising with subcontractors.

Briefing drivers in relation to routes and traffic management

Preparing shift handovers and measuring KPIs.

The Person

To be considered for the opportunity, candidates must hold the following skills and experiences

Minimum of 2 years of Transport Coordinating experience with strong geographical knowledge

Effective communicator both written and verbal and exceptional organisational skills

Have high-level IT skills as the complete operation is digital.

Good timekeeping and being able to work in a structured manner adhering to timetable requirements.

Problem-solving ability.

Flexible attitude to working hours & shift patterns to support the needs of the business.
