Our client, a rapidly expanding and innovative business, is actively searching for a skilled Payroller to join their supportive accounts team. This part-time position allows for complete flexibility, typically requiring 20 to 30 hours per week, tailored to fit your schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing essential components of the monthly payroll process
  • Managing tax codes, and informing employees of changes
  • Processing deductions for NI, student loans, and salary sacrifice
  • Processing statutory payments and additional pay runs
  • Promptly and professionally resolving queries
  • Communicating with HMRC as well as internal and external customers
  • Preparing year-end reports, P60s and P11Ds
  • Supporting system enhancements and conducting process reviews
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture

What qualifications are required?

  • A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience
  • A solid understanding of payroll legislation
  • Strong attention to detail, discretion, and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Excel
  • CIPP or AAT qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
