Role Overview
As a Lead Sales Associate, you will be the face of the studio, responsible for driving membership and retail sales while supporting daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment, enjoys building relationships, and can lead by example to help the team reach its goals. Approximately 80-90% of this role focuses on sales activities, with 10-20% dedicated to supporting studio operations and team guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Membership Growth

  • Drive new member acquisition through outreach, follow-up, and grassroots marketing.

  • Actively manage leads using CRM tools (e.g., ClubReady) through phone, text, and email.

  • Assist in implementing local marketing strategies and partnerships to increase lead generation and revenue.

  • Monitor member retention and support initiatives to keep monthly attrition under 6%.

  • Handle member account updates, including cancellations and freezes.

  • Upsell memberships and retail items to meet and exceed sales targets.

Studio Operations Support

  • Help maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards.

  • Ensure retail inventory is stocked, organized, and up to date.

  • Assist in collecting overdue payments and maintaining accurate member records.

  • Utilize internal resources (like My Stretch Works) to find solutions for sales and operational questions.

Team Support and Leadership

  • Support onboarding and mentoring of new Sales Associates.

  • Lead by example with strong sales techniques and customer service excellence.

  • Provide real-time coaching and encouragement to help team members hit individual goals.

  • Serve as a point of contact in the absence of the Studio Manager.

Community Engagement and Social Media

  • Participate in community outreach events to promote the studio.

  • Assist with managing and posting content for the studios social media accounts.

  • Help coordinate in-studio events and promotions to drive engagement.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a fitness or wellness environment.

  • Comfortable with CRM platforms and technology (ClubReady experience is a plus).

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced setting.

  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals.
