THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a dynamic and passionate General Manager to lead our Pentagon City studio to new heights. This role combines business acumen with a love for fitness and community building. As the face of our studio, you'll create exceptional experiences that keep clients coming back while driving studio growth and performance.

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $48,000 per year

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Must be available to work 2 weekends per month
  • Evening availability required
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate studio peak hours

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Studio Leadership: Oversee daily operations and create a welcoming, motivating environment
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of instructors and staff
  • Business Growth: Drive membership sales, retention strategies, and studio profitability
  • Client Experience: Ensure exceptional service that builds community and fosters client loyalty
  • Brand Standards: Maintain Pure Barre's high standards for class quality, cleanliness, and client experience
  • Marketing & Outreach: Implement local marketing initiatives and community partnerships
  • Administrative Duties: Manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Experience: 2+ years in management, preferably in fitness, retail, or hospitality
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate teams and drive performance
  • Business Acumen: Strong sales, customer service, and operational management skills
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with studio management software (MindBody preferred)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience
  • Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for fitness and the Pure Barre method
