The General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our Boutique Fitness Studio. This position is vital to ensuring operational excellence, delivering outstanding member experiences, and fostering a motivating environment for both staff and clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to our community-centric mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the studio, ensuring a seamless experience for all members and staff.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fitness professionals and support staff.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
- Foster a positive and inclusive studio culture that promotes health and well-being.
- Collaborate with fitness instructors to create engaging class schedules and programs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Establish strong relationships with members, addressing concerns and feedback promptly.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a fitness or service-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire others.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial operations effectively.
- Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a boutique fitness setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with fitness management software and membership tracking systems.
