Job Description

We are hiring a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with at least 1 year of professional experience in QA, including exposure to automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Python-based test automation and familiarity with tools like Selenium and Cucumber.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.

• Perform manual testing and contribute to automation testing efforts.

• Develop and maintain test scripts using Python.

• Report and track bugs using test management and issue tracking tools.

• Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and ensure software quality.

• Continuously contribute to improving QA processes and practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance.

• Strong interest and some hands-on experience with QA automation using Python.

• Familiar with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (basic to intermediate level).

• Good understanding of software testing concepts, bug lifecycle, and SDLC.

• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and test documentation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PyTest, Behave, or other Python BDD frameworks.

• Exposure to API testing and tools like Postman.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
