Must-Have Skills & Experience:

7+ years of engineering experience in safety-critical system design

Proven track record in leading hardware/software projects for regulated industries

Experience working with certification standards such as DO-254, DO-178C, and DO-160
-
Strong knowledge of engineering planning, estimates, documentation, and quality processes

Skilled in risk analysis and mitigation strategies

Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator

Bachelors degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required
Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering execution for projects governed by safety and certification standards

Develop project estimates, engineering plans, and risk mitigation strategies

Coordinate deliverables across teams spanning hardware, software, QA, certification, and manufacturing

Ensure compliance with DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, and internal development processes

Monitor progress, prepare status reports, and resolve issues impacting timelines or quality
-
Support continuous product innovation and contribute to process improvement efforts

Act as the technical liaison with Program Management, Quality Assurance, and Certification groups
