The Senior Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services, while maintaining high-quality standards and supplier performance. This role involves strategic sourcing, negotiation, vendor relationship management, and compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or any related course
- Must have 2-3 years or above experience in international importation, bill of lading and customs documentation.
- 2+ years in a supervisory procurement role
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and compliance
- Time and project management abilities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
