Internal Auditor

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  
• 3 years or above experience as an Internal Auditor or in a similar role
• Experience in an importing and/or distribution environment is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, risk management, and internal control systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
  
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and objectivity

Job Description:

• Plan and execute internal audits across various departments and operational areas.
• Review financial records, operational procedures, and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, weaknesses, or potential risks in internal processes.
• Recommend improvements to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and suggested action plans.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development and review of internal audit procedures and frameworks.
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit activities as required.
