Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Purchasing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's purchasing activities, ensuring that all products and materials are sourced and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and source new suppliers for sports equipment and accessories

- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company

- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and monitor their performance

- Process purchase orders and track delivery schedules

- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for replenishment when necessary

- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing

- Maintain accurate and organized purchasing records and reports

- Assist with budget planning and cost analysis for purchasing activities

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences

- Continuously look for ways to improve purchasing processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of procurement experience, with at least 1 year involving international/import transactions.
• Basic understanding of import procedures, customs documentation, and INCOTERMS.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
• Can start immediately.
