Assembly Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical or electronic components, performing inspections, and ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions

Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components with precision and care

Operate hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks

Conduct functionality and quality tests on finished products

Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and component defects

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve assembly processes

Adhere to all safety protocols and manufacturing standards

Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment

Assist in inventory management and reporting material shortages

Requirements:

High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or electrical fields

Proven experience as an assembly technician or in a similar role

Familiarity with manufacturing tools, machines, and materials

Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination

Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
