Camera Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Camera Operator to join our production team. The Camera Operator will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage for television, film, live events, commercials, or digital media. This role requires strong technical knowledge of cameras and filming equipment, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with directors, producers, and crew members to achieve the desired visual style.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional cameras and related equipment during shoots.

• Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and production teams to achieve creative goals.

• Frame, compose, and capture shots according to production requirements.

• Adjust lighting, angles, and camera movements for optimal visual quality.

• Set up and maintain camera gear, lenses, tripods, dollies, stabilizers, and other equipment.

• Troubleshoot technical issues during filming to avoid production delays.

• Follow safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of equipment.

• Stay updated with the latest camera technology, filming techniques, and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Camera Operator, Videographer, or in a similar role.

• Strong technical knowledge of cameras (DSLR, cinema cameras, broadcast cameras, etc.).

• Understanding of lighting, framing, and cinematography principles.

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced shooting environments.

• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Physical stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Film, Media Production, Broadcasting, or related field preferred.

• Minimum 24 years of camera operating or videography experience.

• Familiarity with editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is a plus.
