Online English Teacher - Remote

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Online English Teacher to deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of various age groups and proficiency levels. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to tailor lessons to meet the unique needs of learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live online English classes (one-on-one and group sessions) using virtual teaching platforms.

• Develop and deliver customized lesson plans based on students goals (academic, professional, conversational, exam preparation, etc.).

• Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

• Use interactive teaching methods, digital resources, and activities to make lessons engaging and effective.

• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and performance reports.

• Stay updated with new teaching methods, tools, and curriculum trends.

• Provide guidance and support for students preparing for international exams (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.).

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.

• Certification: TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent English teaching certification (preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 12 years of teaching English (online or classroom).

• Strong command of spoken and written English with a neutral or clear accent.

• Familiarity with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.).

• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt teaching styles to different learning needs and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Skills

• Experience teaching students from different countries and cultures.

• Knowledge of exam preparation techniques (IELTS, TOEFL, Business English).

• Creative lesson planning and use of digital teaching aids.

• Patience, empathy, and a student-centered teaching approach.
