Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Homeowners Insurance Manager to oversee operations, sales, and customer services related to property and homeowners insurance products. The role involves leading a team, managing client portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving strategies to expand business. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of property and homeowners insurance, leadership abilities, and a proven track record in insurance sales and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and retention targets for homeowners insurance.

  • Manage and mentor a team of insurance agents, advisors, and support staff.

  • Guide clients in selecting the right homeowners/property insurance policies to meet their needs.

  • Oversee underwriting, claims processing, and policy renewals.

  • Ensure compliance with insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and suggest new product opportunities.

  • Handle escalated client issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance trust and retention.

  • Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and external partners.

  • Prepare regular reports on performance, claims, and business growth for senior management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in homeowners/property insurance management, sales, or claims operations.

  • Strong knowledge of homeowners/property insurance policies, risk assessment, and claims management.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in Insurance or Risk Management (e.g., CPCU, AINS, ARM).

  • Experience in managing large property or high-value home insurance portfolios.

  • Strong client relationship management and sales strategy skills.

  • Ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.
