Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Disability Insurance Manager to oversee operations, sales, and client relations in the disability insurance division. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing a team of agents, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations, and providing high-quality service to clients. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of disability insurance products, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in insurance sales and management.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to meet sales, retention, and growth targets for disability insurance policies.

Recruit, train, and manage a team of disability insurance agents and advisors.

Educate clients on disability insurance plans, benefits, coverage options, and claims procedures.

Oversee underwriting, policy issuance, claims management, and renewals.

Ensure compliance with insurance laws, company policies, and industry regulations.

Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and third-party administrators.

Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to recommend improvements and innovations.

Provide guidance and support for clients through the claims process, ensuring timely resolution.

Prepare performance reports and business growth analysis for senior management.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: 35 years of experience in disability insurance or health/life insurance management.

Strong understanding of short-term and long-term disability insurance policies.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
