Pet Insurance Manager - Remote

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pet Insurance Manager to oversee the sales, operations, and client service functions of our pet insurance division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of agents, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations. The role requires a deep understanding of pet insurance products, strong leadership, and excellent client management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and growth targets for pet insurance policies.

• Recruit, train, and supervise insurance agents and customer service teams.

• Educate clients on pet insurance options, including accident, illness, preventive care, and wellness plans.

• Oversee underwriting, claims handling, renewals, and policy issuance.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

• Resolve escalated client inquiries and claims disputes quickly and effectively.

• Monitor competitors and market trends to enhance product offerings.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinarians, pet care providers, and industry partners.

• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and product development teams.

• Prepare reports on sales performance, claims activity, and overall business growth for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Veterinary Sciences, or related field.

• Experience: 35 years in insurance management (pet insurance, health insurance, or related field preferred).

• Knowledge of pet health, veterinary services, and pet insurance policies.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Insurance or Risk Management (e.g., CPCU, AINS).

• Experience working with veterinary practices or pet wellness programs.

• Ability to design customized pet insurance solutions for individuals and groups.

• Strong sales strategy and client retention skills.
