Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts and expand our client base. This role is fully remote and commission-based, offering a unique opportunity for a driven professional to capitalize on their extensive experience in the software industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating sales and building strong relationships with clients in the software development field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:
    • Research and identify potential clients and markets for software development services.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and strategic outreach.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals:
    • Lead contract negotiations and close deals that align with company goals and client expectations.
    • Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with product offerings.
    • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales in the software industry, with a focus on software development services.
    • Demonstrated success in a commission-based sales role with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and market dynamics.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade decision-makers.
    • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively to achieve sales objectives.
  • Technical Acumen:
    • Familiarity with software development tools, platforms, and programming languages is a plus.
    • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
