The Banking Manager is responsible for leading and managing branch or departmental operations, driving sales and revenue targets, developing customer relationships, and ensuring service excellence. Lead and manage daily operations of the branch or business unit to ensure efficiency, compliance, and productivity. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and customer acquisition targets. Monitor performance of banking staff, providing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty. Ensure all operations follow regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and risk management standards. Analyze financial data, market conditions, and customer feedback to make informed business decisions. Collaborate with product, credit, compliance, and marketing teams to drive initiatives and resolve client issues. Manage budgets, cost controls, and profitability of the branch/unit. Promote a customer-first culture focused on quality service and ethical banking. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred). 58 years of progressive experience in banking, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial and sales targets. Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial products, compliance, and risk management. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to manage teams, multitask, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in banking software, CRM systems, and MS Office. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CAIIB, CFP, or other banking/financial credentials. Experience in digital banking transformation or omni-channel banking services. Familiarity with local market trends and customer behavior.
