Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft, engines, avionics, landing gear, and structural components.

Diagnose mechanical and technical issues, using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.

Document all maintenance actions accurately in aircraft maintenance records and logs in compliance with aviation authority regulations.

Follow all FAA/EASA or equivalent national aviation standards and company procedures.

Replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments.

Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and other technicians to identify problems and recommend solutions.

Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

Keep up to date with technical publications, bulletins, and continuing education/training.

Operate ground support equipment and test aircraft systems as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Degree or certificate in Aviation Maintenance Technology or a related field (preferred).
Licenses/Certifications:

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or equivalent national licensure (required).

Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.
Experience:

2+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (commercial, private, or military aircraft).

Familiarity with major aircraft types (e.g., Boeing, Airbus, Cessna, Gulfstream) is an advantage.
Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Solid understanding of aviation safety regulations and quality control standards.

Proficient in using diagnostic tools, computers, and maintenance software.
Preferred Attributes:

Experience with maintenance management systems (e.g., AMOS, TRAX, CAMP).

Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
